2025 was the worst real estate market in the last 30 years. New rules resulting from the NAR settlement, affordability issues, higher interest rates, insurance & taxes, inflation, and sellers being undercut by builders all affected our clients and team.
As a result, our team’s transactions and volume were down from 2024 and revenue was DOWN $1M GCI (yep, you read that right), yet our agents persevered, with grit and determination. The team still managed to 432 buy/sell transactions (not leases we did 127 of those) on 150 million in volume! I am extremely proud of what our team has accomplished in this trying time. Not our best year, but the best it could be given the circumstances and now I know we can handle pretty much anything.
With that, help me congratulate this year’s top producers – Autumn Tisdale, Megan Westerdahl, Laura Sharp, Stephanie Peters, Krista Lutz-Noakes, Jennifer Bolton, Gretchel Smith, Ashley Smith, Kadie Banks, Robin Rutherford, and Kaylee Walker. The hustle is strong with this group!
Each year, I also personally pick agents for our speciality awards. This year’s “Rookie of the Year” goes to Kadie Banks for closing an impressive 12 transactions in her first year! The “Heart and Hustle” award goes to the agent who embodies what it means to be a team player, always going the extra mile for not only the clients, but also other team agents – and this year that award goes to Sam McMeekin who, after going full-time in real estate late in the year, has really stepped up his game . The “Rising Star” award recognizes the agent who is on his or her way to being one of the top producers on the team, and this year that goes to Ashley Smith who has come a long way since joining us.
Thanks also goes out to our lead concierges, transaction concierges, sales managers, trainers and mentors, because it really does take a village! But above all else, thank you to our clients for placing your trust in us! Because without the clients, nothing else matters!
Here is to a great 2026!
